Woodbridge 6, Irvine 2--Woodbridge (6-3) scored six runs in the bottom of the fourth inning as Ashley Boone and Jackie Sukiasian each drove in two runs in the third-place game.
Lakewood St. Joseph 3, El Toro 2--El Toro (6-5) scored in the top of the fifth to take a 2-1 lead, but Monique Jimenez tripled in two runs in the bottom of the fifth to give St. Joseph the victory in the consolation final.
In nonleague softball:
El Dorado 3, Troy 2 (10)--Charrie Jeffries’ fourth hit drove home fellow-freshman Carmen LoNigro with two outs in the bottom of the tenth inning to give El Dorado the victory.
Kelli Tom had nine strikeouts and gave up eight hits in pitching a complete game for El Dorado (9-1). Troy drops to 2-5.
Esperanza 10, El Modena 2--Wendy Harrison scored twice, including once on a steal of home, for Esperanza (5-2).
Los Alamitos 1, Cerritos Gahr 0--Jennifer Slaney’s second-inning single drove in Carolyn Wilson for host Los Alamitos (10-1).
Los Alamitos’ Debbie Wilson allowed three hits to Gahr (2-4-1).
Sunny Hills 2, Orange 1--Pitcher Jennifer Deane had eight strikeouts and scored one run for Sunny Hills (3-3). Amanda Orr scored the winning run.
Mater Dei 3, Cypress 2 (9)--Lisa Tulley scored the winning run on a wild pitch by Stacy Silva in the ninth inning. The Monarchs are 5-1.
La Habra 3, Brea-Olinda 1--Center fielder Shelley Salas was two for three for host La Habra (4-3). Aimee Weathers’ double in the sixth inning drove in the tying run for La Habra.
Villa Park 2-1, Fullerton 0-2--Brandee McArthur struck out 11 in the first game for Villa Park (5-3). Fullerton’s Angie Fancuberta (3-6), who lost the first game, came back with a six-hitter in the second.
Orange Lutheran 5, Century 0--Michelle Harrison (4-1) struck out 13 for Orange Lutheran (4-1). Teammate Carolyn Schulz went three for four with a home run and two runs batted in. Century is 2-3.
Canyon 4, Katella 3--Nina Lindenberg had three hits, scored twice and drove in two runs and Kristy Kachig had an RBI triple and scored once to lead Canyon (6-2). Katella fell to 2-3.
Calvary Chapel 8, Anaheim 2--Jennifer Melone struck out 10 and went three for four with two runs scored for Calvary Chapel (3-6).
