Mater Dei Pitcher Harris Signs With Stanford Baseball

Mater Dei right-hander Adam Harris has signed a letter of intent to play for Stanford, Monarch Coach Bob Ickes said Friday.

Harris, 7-0 with a county-leading earned-run average of 0.45, also considered Harvard and Dartmouth. Harris pitched a no-hitter in the Monarchs’ 11-0 South Coast League rout of San Clemente on April 15.

Harris has a 4.6 grade-point average (on a 4.0 scale), Ickes said.
