SMALL BUSINESS
Courses for Entrepreneurs: The Accelerate Technology Small Business Development Center, sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration and UCI’s Graduate School of Management, is offering a series of courses for entrepreneurs beginning June 8.
The first of the four courses, held weekly on Wednesday nights from 6 to 10 p.m., is titled “Finding Critical Information for New Ventures.” Participants will look at ways to analyze the potential success of an idea for a business.
On June 15, students will learn marketing strategies; and in the June 22 class, how to assemble and understand balance sheets, income statements and cash flow. In the final class, June 29, entrepreneurs will learn how to assemble a business plan and attract funding.
The fee per course is $75. To register, call (714) 509-2990.
