International Remote OKs Share Repurchase

International Remote Imaging Systems Inc., a Chatsworth maker of urinalysis workstations, said its board has authorized the repurchase of up to 50,000 shares of the company’s common stock in the open market.

The authorization allows Fred H. Deindoerfer, chairman and chief executive officer, to make the purchases, but only at prices considered to be favorable to the company. The 50,000 shares represent about 1% of the company’s outstanding common stock.
