USC first baseman J.P. Roberge has signed with the Dodgers after being drafted in the 18th round last week.
Roberge, who went to St. Francis High, batted .332 with 11 home runs, 48 runs batted in and 18 stolen bases as a junior this spring. He will either be assigned to the Dodgers’ Rookie League team in Great Falls, Mont. or their Class A affiliate in Yakima, Wash.
