SUMMER ALBUM ROUNDUP : In Brief

** 1/2 Lisa Lisa, “LL 77,” Pendulum/ERG. Singer Lisa Lisa is only as good as her writers and producers. With Cult Jam, her finest moment was the Full Force-produced “I Wonder If I Take You Home.” On this solo effort, the exceptional song is Nona Hendryx’s sassy “Why Can’t Lovers.” Great jam, but it requires a tougher singer-actress than LL to bring it home.
