HUNTINGTON BEACH : High School Students Attacked; 5 Arrested
Two Valley Vista High School students were attacked and beaten by five assailants shortly after leaving a Denny’s restaurant on Adams Avenue early Tuesday morning, police said.
Police arrested five juveniles seen fleeing the restaurant area on suspicion of assault in the beating of Damon Ohr and the stabbing of Michael Henderson.
Henderson, who was stabbed twice with a small knife, is in fair condition at Western Medical Center-Santa Ana with a punctured lung, police said. Ohr was treated for bruises to the head after being hit with a large fishing pole.
Police say they recovered both weapons from the juveniles, whose names were not released because of their ages.
