CAMARILLO : Building and Safety Provider Named
Camarillo city officials have selected a Torrance-based company to provide building and safety services for the city.
The firm, Charles Abbott Associates Inc., outbid several other agencies, including Ventura County, to win the contract to provide building and safety inspections, licenses and other services, City Manager Bill Little said.
The company received favorable recommendations from several other cities that use its services, Little said. “We anticipate that the users of our building and safety services will receive similar levels of competent and efficient assistance,” he said.
Under the 12-month contract, the company will receive no more than $420,000 of the fees it collects, officials said.
