Baby-Sitting, Basic First-Aid Class Set
The Red Cross will offer a two-day baby-sitting and basic first aid training on Aug. 19 and 20, a spokeswoman said.
Participants in the program will learn to diaper, feed and dress infants, how to discipline children and solve other common problems.
They will also learn basic first aid and handle emergencies. Adolescents completing the course will receive a Red Cross certificate, said spokeswoman Judy Iannaccone.
The classes will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Classroom 206 of the John Coelho Center.
The center is at 600 Parkcenter Drive, Santa Ana. Students must be at least 11 years old to participate, and the fee is $35.
To register, call (714) 835-5381, Ext. 100.
