Steamed in Norway
Dale Brown only mentioned the coastal steamer that serves the Lofotens (“Norway’s Magnetic North,” June 12). Other readers may be interested in them. In May, my husband and I took a six-day cruise on a steamer from Kirkenes to Bergen. While the scenery was spectacular along the coastline, the Lofotens were the high point. The steamer was fascinating because it carried cargo and mail, as well as passengers, and stopped at many small ports along the way.
