THE GOODS : CHEAP THRILLS : Emmy-Nominated Costumes Take Bows in Beverly Hills

See the costumes worn by the stars of “In Living Color,” “Tales From the Crypt,” “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman” and other television shows at Beverly Hill’s annual display of Emmy-nominated costumes today through Sept. 4. The costumes, on display according to show, are all within walking distance of one another--at stores such as I. Magnin, Saks Fifth Avenue and Tiffany & Co. Better yet, pick up the Beverly Hills trolley at the corner of Dayton Way and Rodeo Drive for a dollar, and take a tour of the city, which includes the costume display and a discussion of the designers (such as Bob Mackie, whose costumes for “Gypsy” are nominated). The trolley gives 20-minute tours of the city from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily. (800) 345-2210.

Two-hour sittings begin at noon both days, ending Saturday at 11:30 p.m. and Sunday at 8 p.m. $25; $12 for designated drivers (includes food, drinks). (714) 525-8241.
