Pedestrian Hit, Killed in Fountain Valley
FOUNTAIN VALLEY — A man was struck by two cars and killed Monday night in Fountain Valley when he ran across the street against a red light, police said.
Police said Leopoldo Diaz Viscanna, 32, was crossing Edinger Avenue at Euclid Street about 8:45 p.m. when he was knocked down by a car driven by a Fountain Valley woman. Viscanna, whose place of residence was unknown, was then struck by a sports-utility vehicle that left the scene before police arrived.
