HOLLYWOOD : Reservoir Reopening Delayed for Treatment
The Hollywood Reservoir will remain closed until Saturday for chlorine treatment to remove warm weather bacteria growth.
The popular recreation area, closed since Monday, was due to reopen Wednesday. The postponement was blamed on a delay in the delivery of additives that are pumped directly into the water, the Department of Water and Power said. The operation does not affect drinking water.
