Countywide : Summit for Children Slated for Saturday
Establishing community goals designed to improve conditions for youth will be the focus of the Orange County Summit for Children. This second annual event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Orange Coast College.
Presenting the summit is the United Way of Orange County and the Orange County Partnership for Children. The event will bring together young people, parents and neighborhood leaders with representatives of charities, businesses and government agencies.
The cost for attending the summit is $5, which includes a box lunch. Preregistration is required by Wednesday. The event will be held in the college’s Robert B. Moore Theatre, 2701 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa.
