Koll Resorts International: The company said Tuesday that it has tentatively agreed with a Mexican partner to develop a 600-acre golf resort and planned community in Hidalgo, north of Mexico City.
Financial terms of the agreement were not released. The joint venture calls for Koll to act as managing partner, responsible for the master plan as well as the design and construction of the 27-hole Jack Nicklaus signature golf course, which will be surrounded by 800 houses.
Koll’s letter of intent was signed with Grupo Roca S.A. de C.V./Empresas La Cosa S.A. de C.V. Construction is expected to begin in February, and the golf course is expected to be completed by the summer of 1996, Koll said.
