ROUNDUP : Agoura Scores Water Polo Upset, 12-8

Chris Driscoll and Joey Vona scored three goals each to lead Agoura High to a 12-8 upset of Buena in a nonleague water polo game on Tuesday at Agoura. The Bulldogs were ranked third in the Southern Section in Division IV, and Agoura was ranked seventh.

Harvey Wilford and Kevin Bartine scored two goals each for the Chargers. Jeff Malas led Buena with four goals.

Calabasas 16, Pasadena Poly 9--David Garrett scored six goals and teammates Steve Hever and Harry Marciano each added three for host Calabasas (1-1) in the nonleague match.

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL

Simi Valley d. Westlake, 15-11, 15-7, 14-16, 13-15, 15-12--Kristen Sampson had 10 kills and 17 digs while Michelle Capuano added eight kills and six blocks to lead the visiting Pioneers (1-1, 1-0) in a five-game Marmonte League victory. Marcie Davis had 19 kills for Westlake (1-2, 0-1).

Bell-Jeff d. Notre Dame, 12-15, 15-12, 15-10, 15-10--Senior outside hitter Paola Tasara had 13 kills and Lauren Barrett added 12 kills and 17 blocks to lead the visiting Guards (4-1).
