A “Meet the Candidate” event for Superior Court Commissioner Victor I. * The pros and cons of Proposition 186, the single-payer health-care initiative on the Nov. 8 ballot, will be debated at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church of North Hollywood’s community room, 4832 Tujunga Ave. Participants should bring a sack lunch. * A program on Proposition 187, the anti-immigration initiative, will be presented at a meeting of the Los Angeles Breakfast Club on Wednesday at 3201 Riverside Drive, Los Feliz.
