* What Happened Friday: Republican Pete Wilson and Democrat Kathleen Brown debated for one hour in Sacramento and the event was broadcast statewide. Each then attended a post-debate party of supporters. Wilson also met with state correctional officers at the town of Galt, near Sacramento.
* What’s Ahead: Wilson is scheduled to participate in a get-out-the vote rally in Sacramento. Brown planned to attend rallies in the Oakland and Los Angeles areas.
