PacifiCare Health Systems Inc.: The HMO said Monday that it has received approval from the Department of Corporations to expand its Compremier program, a workers’ compensation HMO, in Southern California.
The Cypress-based health maintenance organization began a pilot version of the workers’ compensation plan in Orange County in June, 1993.
Compremier, which is aimed at reducing the expense of workers’ compensation insurance, will now be available to employers in 110 additional communities in Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
