Clayton, from Trabuco Hills High, spend his first year at Orange Coast as a redshirt. He spent his time being punished by the first-team defense in practice. But Clayton has since gotten his revenge on the opposition. Clayton had 115 yards in OCC’s 28-21 loss Saturday to San Diego Mesa and became the all-time leading rusher in OCC history. Clayton has gained 1,983 yards in 16 games. He also has rushed for 100 or more yards in 11 starts. Clayton rushed for 1,442 yards as a freshman.

* Saddleback, sophomore. He was in on 20 tackles in the Gauchos’ 35-19 loss Saturday.

* Golden West, sophomore. He scored four goals as the Rustlers tied one game and lost another.
