Day Runner Inc.: The Fullerton manufacturer of personal organizers reported a 46% increase in profit for the first quarter of fiscal 1995, to $1.9 million, or 30 cents a share, from $1.3 million, or 22 cents a share, for the corresponding period a year ago. Sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 rose to $31.3 million from $21.6 million.
