BRIEFLY : Cancer: Low-Cost Screenings Offered
An East Valley health center is offering reduced-cost breast and cervical cancer screenings through November, aimed at low-income women who otherwise might not receive basic health services.
At East Valley Community Health Center clinics in West Covina and Pomona, the screening charge will range from $5 to $30, based on annual income. The screening includes a pelvic exam, Pap smear, breast exam and educational materials.
