Canoga Park High won the City Section football championship in 1968 with a 34-27 victory over Poly before 14,000 at East Los Angeles College.
Running back Bob Adams scored all five touchdowns for Coach Jack Mathieson’s “Green Machine.”
Canoga Park, which finished 10-1-1, also defeated Westchester, 27-6; Gardena, 7-6; and Manual Arts, 14-13, in the playoffs.
Adams, who rushed for 1,545 yards, was named City player of the year.
