Boxing
Sugar Shane Mosley has been pulled out of the co-main boxing event scheduled for Nov. 2 at the Warner Center Marriott.
Fight organizers and Mosley’s managers could not agree on an opponent, promoter Peter Broudy said Wednesday. Mosley, a lightweight from Pomona, is 15-0 with 14 knockouts.
Martin Krastev, a superbantamweight from Simi Valley, also has been scratched from the card. He has pneumonia.
Broudy said he expects to have replacements to complete the six-bout show by the end of the week. In the main event, P.J. Goossen of Palmdale (12-0, 11 knockouts) will meet Irish Pat Lawlor of San Francisco (20-5, six knockouts) in a 10-round superwelterweight bout.
