CD-ROMs for Kids: The National Geographic Society has come out with three new titles in the Wonders of Learning CD-ROM Library series, designed for children 4 to 7 years old: “Seasons,” “Exploring the Solar System and Beyond” and “People Behind the Holidays.” Each CD-ROM has nearly 800 color photographs with thousands of picture buttons as well as narrated text, music and sound effects. The titles were produced in conjunction with Discus Knowledge Research Inc. of Toronto.
National Geographic said the new titles ($89.95 each) are available in both Windows and Macintosh versions.
