DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES : Section of Grand Avenue to Be Closed Several Months
A 1 1/2-block stretch of Grand Avenue in Downtown Los Angeles will be closed for several months beginning today because of construction of the Walt Disney Concert Hall, city traffic engineers announced.
The street will be closed from 1st Street almost to 3rd Street, probably until next June. Hill and Hope streets can be used as alternative routes. Signs also have been posted advising DASH and MTA riders of changes in bus routes. A sidewalk will remain open.
