Time Warner Cable in China Deal: The unit of New York-based Time Warner Inc. said it has formed a joint venture with Beijing Broadcasting & TV United Service Corp. that will build cable TV systems. Financial terms were not disclosed. The venture’s first project will be design and construction services for the cable system in Beijing. Projects in other cities are expected to follow. Time Warner Cable is the second-largest cable TV system operator in the United States, with about 7.3 million subscribers.
