LAGUNA BEACH — Nate Pivaroff’s 11-yard run with under three minutes left gave Laguna Beach a 22-20 victory over Estancia in a Pacific Coast League game Thursday at Laguna Beach High School.
Starting at their 47, the Artists drove 53 yards in four plays, sparked by a 30-yard screen pass from Pivaroff to Ryan Steel.

Laguna Beach led, 7-0, on Pivaroff’s one-yard sneak set up by Steel’s 24-yard run to the one-yard line.
Taking advantage of two out-of-bounds kickoffs to start the third quarter, Estancia drove 60 yards in six plays for its first score. Amaya’s five-yard run and a two-point conversion run by Gonzalez gave Estancia its first lead, 8-7, minutes into the second half.
Two plays later, Pivaroff hit Zeda Stone with a 63-yard touchdown pass to regain a 13-8 lead. Stone caught a game-high five catches for 99 yards.
