COLLEGE FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : UCLA : Isiah Crosses Line for Bruins
Sale Isiah, who has started four games at defensive tackle and played the lion’s share of all nine there for UCLA this season, will line up at left guard on some plays Saturday night at Arizona State.
That’s left offensive guard.
He has spent much of the time since the Stanford game two weeks ago working at left guard, where the Bruins are short-handed, and where coaches believe he has a future in the NFL.
Because of a leg injury to James Christensen and Mike Rhome’s absence because of a family illness, the Bruins will have only three guards available Saturday: starters Mike Soenksen and Chad Sauter and Isiah.

Freshman safety Shaun Williams will get his first college start Saturday, replacing Paul Guidry, who might not make the trip. Wide receiver Bryan Adams, who has a separated shoulder, will not play.
