Go Pog Wild at Universal
Pogs are the biggest thing since Transformers. POG is an acronym for Passion-Orange-Guava, a popular drink in Hawaii. The mostly cardboard bottle caps are cheap, easy to collect and store--and a lot easier to get than most toys or games that have exploded into must-have status.
So what could be a bigger attraction than what’s being touted as the “world’s largest Pog game”? Friday through Sunday, children 3-11 can go Pog wild with the game at Universal Studios, Universal City, where PogWorld, an interactive play land, has been operating for the past four weekends.
PogWorld hours are 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The cost is included in regular theme park admission: ages 12-60, $31; ages 3-11 and 60 and older, $24.95. For information, call (818) 508-9600.
