NBA ROUNDUP : Spurs’ Streak Grows to Four
David Robinson scored 24 points and Chuck Person had 14 points and a season-high 11 rebounds as the San Antonio Spurs, playing without injured Dennis Rodman, won their fourth in a row, defeating the Seattle SuperSonics, 104-96, Monday night at San Antonio.
Rodman, the NBA’s leading rebounder, was placed on the injured list earlier in the day because of a separated right shoulder suffered in a motorcycle accident. He is expected to miss up to four weeks.

Walt Williams made a layup with 2.4 seconds left to lift the Sacramento Kings to a 91-89 victory over the Denver Nuggets at Sacramento and into sole possession of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. . . . Jamal Mashburn scored 11 of his 28 points in the second overtime, including the winning layup with 2.4 seconds left, as the Dallas Mavericks beat the Cleveland Cavaliers, 102-100, at Cleveland.
