Tri-Lite Inc.: Trading of shares in the company was halted Friday on the American Stock Exchange after the company said it expects to post a $4-million loss for last year, compared with a $300,000 profit in 1993.
The Irvine maker of lighting fixtures also said it expects to report a $2.6-million loss for the fourth quarter, which would be $1.1 million more than it had expected to lose.
A majority of Tri-Lite’s shares are held by Helionetics Inc., an Irvine holding company that halted trading of its own shares on the American Stock Exchange in November while exchange officials investigate stock registration issues.
