Southern California Gas to Post More Layoffs: The company confirmed that an undisclosed number of middle managers will receive layoff notices on Monday in the next round of cuts and reorganization that was begun in January. Affected will be workers in headquarters units at the Downtown Los Angeles, Pico Rivera and Monterey Park facilities, as well as in other companies of the Gas Co.’s parent, Pacific Enterprises, according to Gas Co. spokeswoman Jeri Love.
