Oscar’s Still at It

The Oscar ceremonies were a few weeks ago but “The Lion King” soundtrack is still basking in the glow of the exposure, topping the Times’ Southern California pop album chart and ranking second on the national chart. Elton John, with his Oscar-winning “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” is feeling the effects too--on his “Made in England” album. It’s No. 4 on the Southern California cart and No. 15 nationally. Duran Duran is still strong in Southern California, with its album entering the pop chart at No. 8.
