LAGUNA NIGUEL : Council Set to Vote on New Operating Budget
The City Council is expected to vote Tuesday on a 1995-96 operating budget of $14.5 million--a 1% increase over this year’s budget.
Major changes would include an increase of $227,000 for police services, plus an additional $100,000 set aside to help pay for a new, countywide public safety radio system.
Among the new items covered by the proposed budget are a cultural arts committee and a youth roller-hockey rink.
