Summa Industries: The Fullerton manufacturer of equipment and engineered industrial products reported net income of $202,000, or 13 cents a share, for the third fiscal quarter, 9% higher than the $185,000, or 12 cents a share, in the same period a year ago. Sales for the quarter ended May 31 rose 18% to $5.2 million from $4.4 million. For the first nine months of the fiscal year, net income totaled $453,000, or 29 cents a share. That compares with profit of $485,000, or 31 cents a share, for the corresponding three quarters a year ago, which included a gain of $100,000 from an accounting change. Sales were up 26% to $13.7 million from $10.9 million.
