HUNTINGTON BEACH : Parade to Feature Helicopter Flyby
Leading the city’s 91st annual Fourth of July parade will be a flyby of California Army National Guard helicopters from Los Alamitos.
The parade will begin at 10 a.m. at Acacia Avenue and Main Street. The aircraft will be Army National Guard Cobra, Huey, OH-58 and OH-60 helicopters.
Taking part in the flyby will be 17 California Army National Guards led by Gen. Guido J. Portante, base commander; Col. James C. Ghormley III, air field commander, and Geraldine A. Siegle, mission commander.
Bleacher seats are available for the parade, which will have as its theme Reflections of Freedom. The bleachers are at Main Street and Palm Avenue. Seats are $5 each.
