World IN BRIEF : VIETNAM : Agent Orange Data Seized by Customs

Vietnamese customs agents seized cancer data and laboratory samples from a prominent American expert on Agent Orange. Dr. Arnold Schecter of the State University of New York Health Science Center said the incident is making him rethink his longstanding support for a U.S. government-funded study there. The secretary general of Vietnam’s Agent Orange research committee, Dr. Le Cao Dai, blamed the seizure on a misunderstanding.
