Fullerton Man Shot, Critically Injured
BUENA PARK — A Fullerton man was in critical but stable condition after being shot four times during an argument in a Kingman Avenue apartment Sunday morning.
Orie Kenneth Elliott, 30, was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange with gunshot wounds in his chest and arms, while police searched for Clifton Duke Ross, 27, suspected of being the assailant.
Buena Park Police Lt. Bob Chaney said Elliott and two friends had been visiting Ross in his apartment in the 5800 block of Kingman Avenue about 10:15 a.m. when an argument broke out.
After arriving at the scene, police evacuated the apartment building while officers searched for Ross, who was still at large late Sunday.
