National Education Corp.: The Irvine-based company said it has completed the sale of five National Education centers to Corinthian Schools Inc. Terms weren’t disclosed. Under terms of the sale, Corinthian also has agreed to acquire an additional seven schools before the end of the year. National Education said it expects to sell nine other schools to six separate buyers by Sept. 30. The company said it continues to discuss the sale of the remaining seven centers with potential buyers.
