Sanctity of Life Should Prevent Another War
Re “Ever Vigilant” (July 30):
Dec. 7, 1941--Aug. 6, 1945. Whatever your opinion of the events between those dates, one thing is clear. Those who suffer most are the innocent people who have no real say in the matter.
The instigators, whether emperors, Presidents, generals or politicians, are far removed from the gory realities.
We must all accentuate our passion for other human beings to assure a war of this magnitude never happens again.
