THOUSAND OAKS : Enrollment Starts for Preschoolers’ Classes
Thousand Oaks parents of children age 2 1/2 to 6 can register for fall preschool classes at the Conejo Recreation and Park District.
The classes, which will begin Sept. 11, will include arts and crafts, science, music and outdoor play. The classes run through mid-December, and parental participation is not required.
Classes have a maximum of 24 children and range in price from $159 to $236, depending on the frequency of the class and its duration.
Many of the classes fill up, said Tricia Crowdis, a district recreation leader. “They’re pretty popular classes,” she said.
Parents can register in person at any of the district’s community centers through Sept. 1. Mail-in registration begins Tuesday.
Residents of areas outside the Conejo Valley must wait to register until Sept. 3. Catalogues are being mailed this week.
For information, call the district at 498-3124.
