GARDEN GROVE : Free Immunizations, TB Tests for Students
Free immunizations and tuberculosis tests are being given this week to students of the Garden Grove Unified School District.
Locations are Rancho Alamitos High School, 11351 Dale St.; Dr. A.J. Cook Elementary School, 9802 Woodbury Road; and Santiago High School, 12342 Trask Ave. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Friday.
Before enrolling in school, all students must be immunized for polio, red measles, diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, German measles and mumps. In addition, any first- through 12th-graders who are new to the county must show proof of having a tuberculin skin test within 18 months before starting school.
