Man Shot at Home During Argument
TUSTIN — A Tustin man was shot in the stomach Sunday morning by an acquaintance during an argument over a debt, police said.
Police found Ernest Branch, 23, wounded about 9:15 a.m. at his Tustin home in the 13000 block of Myford Road. He was taken to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana, where he immediately underwent surgery. He was listed in serious condition late Sunday.
The suspect, believed to be a Los Angeles resident, fled before police arrived. He is described as a black male adult, 4-foot-8 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds.
