MOORPARK : Sign-Ups to Begin for Youth Basketball
The gym floor is polished and the nets are up as the Moorpark Boys & Girls Club begins sign-ups for its 1995-96 youth basketball league.
With more than 550 participants and 65 teams last year, the league was one of the city’s most popular youth activities, club officials said.
Sign-ups are scheduled for today and Sept. 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Arroyo Vista Park gymnasium, 4550 Tierra Rejada Road, and the Boys & Girls Club, 280 Casey Road.
The youth league is for students in the third through 10th grades.
