Hoover 14, Temple City 14--Led by a balanced rushing attack, the Tornadoes (2-1-1) jumped out to an early 14-0 lead but were forced to settle for a tie at Temple City.

Hoover scored on its first drive on a four-yard run by Emre Ozgur. Quarterback Welser Maltez ran for a 15-yard score on the Tornadoes’ second possession.

Temple City (1-2-1) responded just before halftime, scoring on a 27-yard pass from James Schneider to Tito Harris.
