Southeast : Travel Agency Owner Slain in Robbery
The owner of a Long Beach travel agency was shot to death Friday during an apparent robbery as his three daughters looked on.
Steven Sea, 33, died at the scene after he was shot by one of three robbers who entered Khmer-Hangsa Travel Agency on the 1300 block of Dawson Avenue just before noon, said Long Beach Police Cpl. Josef Levy.
A woman in the office suffered minor injuries after she was pistol-whipped in the attack. Other family members in the office, including Sea’s daughters, were not injured, Levy said.
Anyone with information about the attack is asked to call the Long Beach Police Department at (310) 570-7245.
