Printronix Inc.: The Irvine manufacturer of computer printers reported net income of $1.9 million, or 35 cents a share, for the second fiscal quarter, up 27% from the $1.5 million, or 29 cents a share, for the third quarter last year. Sales for the quarter ended Sept. 29 increased 15% to $39.5 million from $34.3 million. For the first six months, net income rose 59% to $4.6 million, or 84 cents a share, from $2.9 million, or 57 cents a share, recorded a year earlier. Sales rose 21% to $81.7 million from $67.8 million.
