Authentic Fitness Files SEC Registration Statement
Authentic Fitness Corp., a Van Nuys maker of swimwear and active wear, said it has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a secondary stock offering.
The company, which markets apparel under the Speedo, Oscar de la Renta and Catalina brand names, plans to offer 2.5 million shares of common stock for sale. The proceeds will be used to repay a bridge loan that was used to finance the repurchase last month of stock held by General Electric Capital Corp. at $20 per share, it said.
