FULLERTON : Poetry Workshops Offered at Library
The Fullerton Public Library will offer a series of free workshops designed for poets starting Tuesday with a presentation by Cal State Fullerton English Prof. Will McNelly.
The first workshop will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the library’s meeting Room A, 353 W. Commonwealth Ave. Subsequent workshops will be on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month.
Tips on how to write poetry and how to get poems published will be offered. Participants also will recite poetry.
Library officials said the world-renowned science fiction author Ray Bradbury will share some of his poetic triumphs and travails at the Nov. 28 workshop. Information: (714) 738-6380.
